The brochure said AASF #2 is located on 34 areas adjacent to Donaldson Center. The 110,000 square foot facility is now home for the CH-47 and the UH-72 fleet and comes complete with the most modern construction standards including an elevator. When you think of all the nice features you would like to have in the work environment, this facility has them all.
As the first AASF Commander, LTC Charlie Lewis was there to oversee the entire construction project from start to finish.
